After his retirement, the French philosopher FRANCIS WOLFF, a great bullfighting fan, decides to undertake a trip through France, Mexico and Spain with two Mexican filmmakers who know nothing about that world that seems to have its days numbered. Throughout the journey, they meet various characters with whom they reflect on the relationship between human beings and animals and nature, on the meaning of this journey that is life, and on our relationship with death.
